Joseph Mitchell Rosser Sr., 52, of Greenridge Spa Road, Lewisburg, died Sunday, January 20,2013, at Logan Memorial Hospital.
He was a Logan County native, born April 29, 1960 to the late David Edward Rosser and Mary Virginia Bryan Rosser. He was also preceded in death by his brother, David Rosser.
He worked in the remelt department at Logan Aluminum. He was a member of CrossRoads Church, Machinist Union and F.O.P.
Funeral services for Joseph Mitchell Rosser Sr. were 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Charlie Richardson officiating and burial in the Auburn Cemetery. Visitation was at the funeral home after 5 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 and after 8 a.m. on Wednesday until the funeral hour.
Pallbearers were Tyler Corns, Joe Boggess, Brent Hinton, Robert Thompson, Chris Glover, Brian Rosser and John Rosser. Honorary Pallbearers were Red Holder and Matt Morr.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Montgomery Rosser; son, Mitch Rosser of Russellville; stepsons, Tyler Corns of Lewisburg and Matthew Corns of Bowling Green; daughter, Rebecca Rosser Goodwin of Olmstead; stepdaughter, Cheyenne Glidewell of Lewisburg; brothers, Bobby Rosser of Lewisburg, Johnny Rosser of Lewisburg and Lee Rosser of Russellville; sister, Becky Burns of Russellville and granddaughters, Emma Goodwin and Leah Goodwin.
