Gladys Marie Bailey, 91, of Auburn, Ky., died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, in the Auburn Health Care.

She was born in Logan County, Ky. on March 22, 1921, a daughter of the late Clifford and Gertrude Belcher Anderson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bailey is preceded in death by the father of her children,Wilson Bailey; her brothers, Ernest, Curtis, Kermit and Kenneth Anderson; one grandchild, and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Bailey was a member of the Bald Knob Presbyterian Church.

Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 11 at 2 p.m. in the Young Funeral Home Auburn Chapel with Brother Kenny Chyle and Brother Don Cox officiating. Burial followed in the Smith Cemetery. Visitation began Thursday, Jan. 10 from 5-8 p.m. and Friday, Jan. 11 from 8 a.m. until time of service in the funeral home.

Pallbearers were Jeff Bailey, Shane Bailey, Howard Coles, Tyler Farmer, Tyler Waters, Timmy Thomason, T. C. Thomason, Hunter Bailey and B. J. Grayson.

She is survived by her sons, Glenn Bailey and Delanie of Russellville, Ky. and Maurice “Tooter” Bailey and Shirley of Rockfield, Ky.; her daughter, Wanda “Polly” Thomason and Leslie of Auburn, Ky.; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-great-grandchild.
