Mary Garland Sharp, 88, of the Highland Lick Rd. Lewisburg died Saturday, December 22, 2012, in the Creekwood Place Nursing and Rehab.

She was born in Logan County on June 2, 1924, to the late Timothy Garland and Johnnie Kate Willis Stratton. She was married to the late Starling Sharp and is a member of the Concord Baptist Church.

Funeral Services for Mary Garland Sharp were conducted Monday, December 24, 2012, at 1 p.m. in the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel with Bro. Arno Krantz and Bro. Travis Bryant officiating and burial to follow in the Dripping Spring Cemetery. Visitation was Sunday in the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel from 5:30-8 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. until funeral time.

Pallbearers were Jamie Sharp, Corey Sharp, Casey Sharp, Kenny Cauley, Keaton Oberhausen and Earl Moberly.

She is survived by sons, Ray Sharp of Russellville, Jim Sharp of Lewisburg and David Sharp of Olmstead; daughters, Faye Cauley of Franklin, Joy Taylor of Lewisburg and Vickie Howard of Russellville; brother, Roy Stratton of Adairville; 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
