Clennie H. Barker, 81, of Russellville died Sunday December 23, 2012, at the Creekwood Nursing and Rehab Center.

He was the son of the late Clarence and Frances Bell Barker, born in Logan County on March 15, 1931.

Mr. Barker was united in marriage to Lois J. Smith on June 15, 1954. He joined the Townsend Grove Baptist Church at an early age. Mr. Barker did farm work most of his life, but also worked at E.R. Carpenters and Griffin Industries.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Lois J. Barker, two sons; Nathan A. Barker and Gary L. Barker, a grandson; Kenneth E. Fineday-Barker and a great-great grandson; Boyd Davin Anthony Young.

Funeral services for Clennie H. Barker will be conducted on Friday December 28, 2012 at 1 p.m. in the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel. Visitation at the Funeral Home will be Friday from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour.

He is survived by two daughters; Jeannie Chatmon and Barbara Blakey (Johnny), six sons; Clennie (Pete) Barker, Kenneth Barker, Gerald Barker, Ronnie Barker, Jeffrey Barker (Sherlene), Terry Barker ( Leighane), 19 Grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, sister-in-law; Chrissie B. Smith, longtime friend; Charles E. Bigbee, devoted companion of 10 years; Ethelyne A. Sunbear and a host of other relatives.
