Kenneth Ray Jenkins, 85, of Dunmor, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, at the Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville.

He was born in Beechcreek, Ky. Wednesday, March 9, 1927, a son of the late Leonard Jenkins and the late Edith McKie Jenkins. In addition to his parents, Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by his son, Harold Ray Jenkins; his brother, Raymond Jenkins, and his sisters, Ann Walker and Dorothy Renure.

Mr. Jenkins was retired from the shipping department at Bilt Rite.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 22 at 2 p.m. at Price Funeral Home with the Reverend Garry Mitchell and Reverend Leamon Mefford officiating.Burial will follow in Dunmor Cemetery. Visitation began Friday, Dec. 21 after 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, Velma DeArmond Jenkins of Dunmor; his daughter, Karen Key of Lewisburg; his sister, Hattie Hunt of Beechmont; four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
