Elizabeth Pauline Kees, 92, of Lewisburg died on Friday, November 23, 2012, at Creekwood Place in Russellville.

She was born Tuesday, July 27, 1920 in Logan County, the daughter of the late Guy Sears and the late Bertie Williams Sears. She was the wife of the late Lewis Cornelius “L.C.” Kees.

She was a homemaker, former clerk at the ASCS Office, former teacher’s aide at Lewisburg School and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church located at 954 Stacker St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Rev. Ronnie Forrest and Rev. MIke Brady officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Lewisburg.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, November 24, 2012, and from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday November 25, 2012 at Price Funeral Home, and 1-2 p.m. on Sunday, November 25, 2012, at the church.

Surviving are sons, Guy Lewis Kees (Janice) of Lewisburg and Paul David Kees (Patsy) of Lewisburg; grandchildren, Jason Kees of Louisville and Laura Ann Townes (Jonathan) of Lebanon, Tenn.; great grandchild, Anniston Elizabeth Townes of Lebanon.
