On October 20th the Friends of Lake Malone State Park held a Halloween Bash at Lake Malone State Park.

The schedule of events included a Scavenger Hunt, various Kids Games, Corn Hole Tournament, Pony Rides, Costume Contests, and Trick or Treating around the campground. As a fundraiser to help support the Friends’ group a small fee was requested for the Hay Maze, Hay Rides, and Haunted Pavilion.

Numerous sponsors donated items for Door Prizes. Food vendors also generous with their support and a variety of food choices were Country Fine Swine BBQ, Farris’ Snack Shack Concession, and Crawford’s Cotton Candy and Popcorn. The Halloween Bash was the final event for this year.

LMSP will be closed for the winter season, yet the Friends’ group will continue to meet during that time to plan for 2013.
