Geneva Bradbury Chester, 96, of Guthrie, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at the Friendship House in Hopkinsville.

She was born in Montgomery County, Tenn. Sept. 30, 1916, a daughter of the late Arthur and Ara Guthrie Bradbury. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Chester was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Chester Sr.

Mrs. Chester was a homemaker and a member of the Guthrie Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of the Cook - Webb Funeral Home with Reverend Bill Jones officiating, Burial followed at the Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation began Tuesday, Nov. 13 from 3-6 p.m. at the funeral home.

She is survived by her son, Wayne Chester Jr. (Linda) of Hopkinsville and her grandchildren, Wayne Chester III (Sarah) and Donnie Chester.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Guthrie Baptist Church.
