Earline Wilkins Smith, 79, of Elkton,died Sunday Nov. 4, 2012, at the Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville.
She was born in Todd County Jan. 31, 1933, a daughter of the late Morrison Pete and Cora Bell Hightower Wilkins. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Kirby Smith.
Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a devoted mother.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 7 at 1 p.m. in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Shane Hessey officiating. Burial followed at the Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation began Tuesday, Nov. 6 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
She is survived by her sons, Larry Joe and Alton Lewis Shemwell both of Sharon Grove and her brother, Ernest Wilkins of Russellville.
