Dear Editor:
I’ve heard politics makes strange bedfellows, however when an incumbent slanders a good Christian and father, it tells me that she is worried about her position in Frankfort.
She hasn’t been heard from since she last campaigned for the position years ago. Change is really good, and in this case change is what Logan County needs from our State Representative in Frankfort.
Why slander someone for being a teenager at the time she wrote about. His music was right on at that time. To slander him for his music, that was no worse than our music is bad politics. I know Mr. Hightower as a good Christian man, and a good father. We have all fell short at times, however, God doesn’t give up on us. He knows our weakness.
Mr. Hightower would be a great state representative. Voters don’t throw stones at him due to a person who has trashed a good man. God gives us many chances, and Mr. Hightower deserves the position in Frankfort. He will work for the good of all Logan County.

Martha Jane did not send this information out nor did she endorse it..if you read the paid for by...it was sent by an Christian organization out of Louisville. Unlike her opponent, she has never slung any mud or criticized him personally in any way..
I cannot understand why you think she has trashed him. She has done a great job serving the people of Logan and Todd counties...if you didn't benefit personally..you have not looked at all her accomplishments..God bless you and let the anger cease.
