Christine Robinson Wilkey, 82, died October 3, 2012, at her home in Hopkinsville.

Mrs. Wilkey was born in Logan County April 26, 1930, the daughter of the late Mack and Nellie Stanley Robinson.

She was preceded in death by sisters Frances Ragar, Kate Bomar, Ruth Byrum, brothers Simpson Robinson, Thomas Robinson, Edmon Robinson and Lloyd Robinson.

Christine was a faithful member of the Cornerstone Church of God where she taught Sunday School. She worked in the Financial Department and was Coordinator of the Elderly programs for the Housing Authority of Hopinsville and retired in 1996.

Funeral services were held Saturday, October 6, at Hugart & Beard Funeral Home, Hopkinsville, with Rev. Jim Leek and Rev. Dale Robinson officiating. Burial followed in Auburn Cemetery.

She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Harms and Glenda Wilkey of Hopkinsville, three sons, Bobby L. Wilkey (Patty) of Florida, Donald G. Wilkey (Kathy) of Hopkinsville and Billy R. Wilkey (Robyn), one brother, Jim F. Robinson (Gloria) of Russellville, eight grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
