Croslin would throw the next two touchdowns including a 12 yard pass to Tacorian Darden and four yard pass to Hines resulting in a 47-0 lead at the half.

The next quarter would be slow for the Panthers but it didn’t stop Desmon Quarles or Zach Hendley from scoring to end the game 60-0.

The Panthers ended the game with 353 offensive yards. They had 201 overall rushing yards with Desmon Quarles leading the Panthers with 47 and Demarcus Hampton with 39. Barrett Croslin ended the game with 152 yards passing and Josh Hampton with 91 yards receiving.

“We did good today and went out there and got the win. We got what we wanted out of this game which was a win and to stay healthy and to secure a home playoff game,” said head coach John Myers. “Mayfield is a tremendous football team with tremendous speed. We know it will be a challenge but that’s what we play for and hopefully we will win. Our goal is to get two shots at playing them this year. We are just going to keep getting betting. We aren’t a bad football team but we’re not a great one. We still got a lot of room for improvement.”

The Panthers will face Mayfield next Friday at their home game at 7:30. Next Friday the Panthers will also be recognizing their seniors.
