Notes from Schochoh: This will be my final column from Schochoh. I have given this a lot of thought as I have enjoyed this work and the people I have met during this process. Due to a disagreement with the editorial staff, my heart is no longer in this venture and I feel that someone else could do a better job. I tried to be adult and rise above the conflicts that surrounded the community news columns and their content last month. My column in response to a comment made by another columnist was censored, while the editors chose to print offensive comments by another columnist.
I can’t continue to work for a corporation who adheres to these policies.
I thank everyone who has read my column and all of positive feedback I have received the past few years. Thank you all for your support.
