Thomas Lear, 81, of Muhlenberg County, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, of natural causes at Hearthstone Nursing Home in Elkton.
He was born March 5, 1931 in Muhlenberg County, the son of Hillard Lear and Carrie Heltsley Lear.
He was a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his wife, Mabel Lear, brother Raymond Lear and sisters Ruthell Walker and Dora Blankenship.
Visitation was held Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home. A graveside service followed at Emberry Church Cemetery with Bro. Mike Miller officiating.
