A group of 10 ladies ate lunch at Arbys on Wednesday of last week. Nine were from Tops and we had one visitor. We have a good time visiting together. We have a group of nice ladies that go to Tops. If you need to lose some weight, we invite you to come and be with us. Our leader is Marylin Goodman. We meet each Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. at Logan Memorial Hospital.
Myrtle Pogue would like to thank each one who helped make her 91st birthday a very special one. She enjoyed her cards, calls, visitors, food and gifts. her visitors were Sue, Marcie Patterson, Lorrie Hopper, Melba Gibbs and Loyde and Barbara Houchens. She received 21 birthday cards.
Jimmy and Christian enjoyed the singing Saturday night at Lewisburg City Complex Building.
Visiting with Jimmy and Sheila Sunday after church and having lunch with them were their children, Christie and Travis Chick and children, Nick and Stephanie Chrtistian and Trevor Christian. His family had already made plans to go to the movies so they didn’t get to be there. They alwasy have a good time when they get together.
Tammy Sears did the special at church Sunday morning. We were glad to have Brother Rob Johnson with us at Antioch Sunday morning in the absence of our pastor. Brother Cormel has been on a mission trip to Romania.
It will soon be time for the Duncan Ridge, White and Johnson reunion, which will be October 20 at the Activities Building at Elk Lick in Spa. You are invited to come if you are kin or just friends. The meal will be around 5 p.m. and will be potluck.
Visiting with Christine White was Dorothy Henderson, Juley and Shelby Nelson and Jimmy White came Monday night bringing her supper from Captain D’s.
