The Glasgow Police Department is looking for victims of a scam that could have reached many areas.
Officer Tammy Britt is investigating a bogus business named “About Face Dental and Denture Care.” Officer Britt has been told that at least one person from Russellville went to this place and maybe more than just one.
“The business came through and was a complete scam. Its been such a horrible ordeal. They scammed a lot of people out of a lot of money. I’m up to almost 40 victims so far and about $20,000 total,” said Britt.
The business made dentures for people after taking their money up front and the dentures they provided would not fit. The guy and his wife are neither one dentists or licensed to do this, says the officer.
Britt says she just wanted to reach out to see if anyone else was scammed by this business and if so she would like you to contact her.
So far Britt has victims from Warren, Barren, Hart, Simpson, Edmonson, Allen, Monroe, Tennessee, and Florida.
