Dorothy Jean Wood, 63, of Russellville, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, in the Medical Center in Bowling Green.

She was born in Logan County Oct. 6, 1948, a daughter of the late James Ford and Irene Boyd Hines. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wood was preceded in death by her brothers, James Ford Hines, Harold Frank Hines and Sandy Earl Hines and her sister, Roberta Bradley

Mrs. Wood was a member of the Bank Street AME Church in Russellville.

Cremation was chosen . There will be a graveside service held Friday, Sept. 28 at 11 a.m. at the Greenwood Cemetery. Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

She is survived b y her sons, Orlando Hines of Clarksville, Tenn. and Ventrail Hines and Travis Sanchez Hines, both of Russellville; her brothers, George Hines, John Wayne Hines and Kenneth Hines, all of Russellville and Clarence Hines of Bowling Green; her sisters, Delores Morris and Lillie Hines, both of Russellville, and 12 grandchildren.
