Calvin Stanley Lunsford, 54, died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012.

He was a son of the late John Lunsford and the late Agnes Vick. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lunsford was preceded in death by his sister, Nadine Beck and his niece, Regina Gordon.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 8 at the Bank Street A.M.E. Zion Church in Russellville with Reverend Fred Fort officiating and Reverend Tony Pollard giving the eulogy. Burial followed in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Jeff Smith, James Yarbrough, Phillip Todd, Larry Robey, Ricky Bellamy and Donald Bell. Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy Benton, Clarence Mason and Howard Crenshaw. Flower Bearers were Iieshia Gordon, Luindia Gordon, Linda Jackson, Rochelle Sydnor, Shelia Gordon and Sherry Jackson.

Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service was in charge of the arrangements.

He is survived by his brothers, James Vick (Tiny) of Russellville and Leanard Vick of Lansing, Mich.; his sister, Dorris Vick of Russellville; his nephews, Larry Woods (Annie) and Charles Beck, both of Bowling Green, Demosko Gordon (Edwanna) of Louisville, Archie Beck of Russellville and Patrick Beck (Janet) of Minnesota; his niece, Teresa Robey (Shine) of Russellville; his step-daughter, La Eboni Taylor of Bowling Green; his step-grandchildren, La Davis Porter and LaMichael Porter; his special friends, James Yarbrough and Jeff Smith; his devoted friend, Carol Taylor, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
