The Russellville High School Marching Panthers would like to invite everyone to the 34th Annual 2012 Annual Show of Bands which will be held at the historic Rhea Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 15th. This stadium was built in 1939 by WPA (Works Progress Administration) and has been the home of the Marching Panthers since that time.

The National Anthem will begin at 5:15 p.m., with senior recognitions following.

There will be 11 bands performing including Caverna High School, LaRue County High School, Green County High School, Todd County High School, Butler County High School, Franklin-Simpson High School, Allen County-Scottsville High School, Logan County High School, Macon County High School, Greenwood High School and Bullitt East High School, with Russellville High School performing in Exhibition. Awards will follow.

The admission will be $5 per person, with ages three and under admitted free. Come hungry, there will be plenty of food available! Pork chop sandwiches, ribeye sandwiches, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, popcorn, taco in a bag and nachos are just some of the items cooked by the RHS Band Boosters and will be available while enjoying the different selections of music by the marching bands.

Each member of these bands works incredibly hard on their show, and we hope you will come and support each of them.
