Beverly J. Varble, 65, of Russellville, died Monday, Sept. 10, 201,2 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.

She was born in Old Hickory, Tenn. Feb. 6, 1947, a daughter of the late Lucian and Virginia Parrish Wells. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Varble was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Butch Varble.

Mrs. Varble was a member of Southern Heights Baptist Church and retired as the director of medical records at Logan Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 11 a.m. at the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel with Brother Carl Freudenthal officiating. Burial followed in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation began Tuesday, Sept. 11 from 5-8 p.m. and Wednesday, Sept. 12 from 8 a.m. until time of service at funeral home.

Pallbearers were Billy Ray Parrish, Billy Joe Foster, Carl Robert Foster, Randy Parrish, Doris Hayes, Bill Stokes, Gerald Kelly and Mark Parrish.

She is survived by her son, Travis Varble and wife Amy of Auburn; her daughter, Vanessa Hancock and husband Chad of Hopkinsville, and her grandchildren, Jo Beth Varble, Abigail Varble, Piper Hancock, Katie Grace Hancock and Kendall Hancock.
