Rodney Dean Parker, 38, of Wilhelm Road, Russellville, died Saturday, September 1, 2012, in Morgantown.

He was born December 3, 1973, in Logan County, Kentucky to Larry Dean Parker and Kathy Hightower Parker Johnson. He was a certified welder and member of Dripping Spring Baptist Church.

Funeral services for Rodney Dean Parker were conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Noffsinger officiating with burial to follow in the Berea cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home was after 6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 and after 8 a.m. Wednesday until the funeral hour.

Pallbearers were Kenny Basham, Michael Parker, Dale Hightower, Shane Johnson, Doug Parker, Michael Hightower, J.P. Parker and Jeff Powell. Honorary pallbearers were Cody Fuller and Dillon Fuller.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Croslin Parker of Russellville; mother, Kathy Hightower Johnson of Russellville; sister, Sherry Parker Fuller (Rodney) of Russellville; maternal grandparents, James and Emma Hightower of Russellville; daughters, Brianna Loggins of White House, Tenn. and Kathy Shanowa Parker of Shelbyville, Tenn.; step-daughters, Lindsey Nicole Judd of Summersville and Kristen Danielle Smith of Bowling Green; step-granddaughter, Breanna Nicole Judd of Summersville; nephews, Cody Fuller and Dillon Fuller; niece Ashley Fuller; two great nephews and two great nieces.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home.
