Dear Editor:

In response to the letter in the Sept. 4 N-D&L “Women and Seniors Vote Democrat.”

Ms. Atchison quoted a Bible verse to help support her point. I am so happy that we still have the right to quote the Bible. If it was up to our Democratic leaders, especially our President, we would not have a Bible to read and quote verses out of at all. If Ms. Atchison did a little research, she would know that the present administration is doing everything they can do to take God and Christianity out of our lives.

Also there has been a huge push by the Obama administration to scare women and seniors into voting for the Democratic party. But, if they actually looked at the facts, they would know that it is just the opposite. If we continue with Obama’s plans for this country, there won’t be any money to be had for any government programs. He’s already, in one term, increased our debt so much we may never recover. There are more people than ever on welfare. The job situation is awful. Our country is in a terrible mess and Obama and his cronies have not helped it - not one little bit!
