Howdy from our little community. We’ve shelled peas again. To repeat myself, this is something I can do to help someone else. So, do you need any peas shelled? We will do it.

Steve and Debbie Timberlake celebrated their 40th anniversary. Best wishes to them.

Glad Angie Dudley is home after her surgery in Baptist in Nashville. Hope she gets a better report when she checks in with her Dr. next time.

Glad Joe Coursey is home after heart surgery last week in Nashville and is able to be up and about.

A date to remember is September 15th, the Kisselbaugh family will have their good time together at the Green Ridge Community Center. That family has a bunch of good cooks. Hope I can make it, I enjoy that family. In fact, Bob and the kids were all cousins. Their family is like a lot of other now, several of them have passed away. There will be hot dogs, burgers, desserts, all those good eats.

Jerry Hart and Roger Gibson ate breakfast with Virginia Hart.

I had a good visit one night this week by phone with Leon Gant. Don’t know when ever I saw he and Earldean last, but I enjoyed the visit. When he and Earldean went to get married, Bob and I went with them. I remember it was the Methodist preacher at Epley and I’m not sure I remember his name.

Visiting last week with Marvine Brown were Janet and Bart Bailey and Beverly Coin of Michigan. On Saturday visiting with all of them were H.D. and Jean Porter of Bowling Green, They all went out to lunch that day.

Last Saturday night attending a classical musical at WKU were Lasley Johnson, Shelia and Jeff Barrow, Phyllis Dukes, Courtney and Grandy Jackson and boys, Chris and Alicia Johnson , Meredith and Cade, Don and Linda Vitale and Will. Will was one of the gang, he is quite a guitar player. Of course they enjoyed the program really well.

We had a very good rain Sunday, almost all day. I think the weatherman is promising more. It like the old saying, “Rained the first day of the month, it will rain for 15 days in the month.”

Sorry Dunmor gal Juanita Silvey is in Vanderbilt in Nashville after a nasty fall, which resulted in a broken hip. She has had surgery and and hopefully gonna be alright.

Visiting this week with James and Sue Fuller have been Jeff and Corrie Fuller, Luke and Brett and Tony Fuller. James took some of his treatments last week.

In and out last week were Marvine Borders, she helped shell peas, Judy Jernigan and Beverly Whitson. On Friday, Dick Dickerson came and we had vegetable soup. He has lost 80 pounds, so we are proud he has been able to do this. Just keep it up, okay?

Have a good week. See ya next time!
