Ruthell Francis Crafton, 90, of Summer Shade, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at the home of her daughter in Summer Shade, Ky.

She was born in Todd County Aug. 2, 1922, a daughter of the late Oather and Lola Willis Francis. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Crafton was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Crafton in 1986.

Graveside services were held Thursday, Aug. 30 at 4 p.m. in the Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation began Thursday, Aug. 30 beginning at 2 p.m. until time of service at Latham Funeral Home.

She is survived by her daughters, Lori Carson and husband Russell of Summer Shade, Ky., Martha Maddox of Beech Grove, Ind., Sandy Kennedy and husband Elwood of Russellville, Eva Stagner and husband Richard and Edna Hal, both of Hopkinsville and Phyllis Reid and husband Rodney of Franklin, Ind.; her grandchildren, Michelle Faults, Cristopher Maddox, Steven Kennedy, Jeffrey Kennedy, Pamela Stagner, Leslie Johnson, Tommy Hall, Sheila Wright, Angelia Burris and David and John Carson; 11 great-grandchildren, and her sisters, Clotine Adams of Louisville and Geraldine Franklin of Champaign, Ill.
