Karen Marcella Harris, formerly of Russellville, currently of Elizabethtown, Ky. and Kevin David Gilkerson of Glendale, Ky. are happy to announce their upcoming wedding.
Karen is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Harris. She was formerly the sign language interpreter and assistant football coach at Logan County High School. She was also the Russellville Main Street Manager and served on the board of directors at RCC. She is the property manager for Mark Harris Properties. She is the mother of three children, Craig, Jon and Lindsey Williams.
Kevin is the son of David and Maxine Gilkerson of Branson, Mo. He is a United States Army veteran and the owner of Image Builders. He is the father of three children, Shannon Marie Gilkerson Dennis and Brandon and Kyle Gilkerson. Kevin is the Valedictorian from the class of 2001-ITT Technical Institute.
A country garden wedding is planned for Sept. 8, 2012, at the private estate of the groom. Dinner and dancing will immediately follow the ceremony.
The wedding will be catered by Tony York’s on Main and the award winning Bama Boy BBQ. The wedding cake is by sugar fashion cakes. Photography by AweStruck Imagery (Andrea Sailing).
After the wedding, the the couple is planning a Royal Caribbean International Cruise.
