Erma Irene Seiber, 74, of Kirkmansville, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at Alive Hospice of St. Thomas in Nashville, Tenn.

She was born in Granite City, Ill. Aug. 12, 1937, a daughter of the late David E. and Irene Jane Bowlin Henry. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Seiber was preceded her in death by her husband, James Alton Seiber.

Mrs. Seiber was a homemaker and farmer and attended Mt. Tabor Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Sunday, July 29 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church with Reverend Jimmy Fuller officiating. Burial followed at her rhome on Rattlesnake Road. Visitation began Saturday, July 28 from 5-8 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home and Sunday, July 29 after 1 p.m. at the church.

She is survived by her son, James Alton Seiber Jr. of Collinsville, Ill., her daughters, Patricia Ann Seiber and Angela Dawn Silvia, both of Kirkmansville and Sandra Irene Burguess and Lisa Darlene Seiber, both of Collinsville, Ill., her brothers, David Ezra Henry Jr. and Robert Paul Henry, both of Illinois; her sisters, Bernice Jane Ballero, Virginia Mae Sutten, Betty Jean Richter, Sylvia JoAn Kurtz and Rosalee Alberta Mattea, all of Illinois; 11 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
