At approximately 8:40 p.m. Wednesday evening, the Logan County Sheriff’s Department responded to a crash on Beauchamp Road, near Adairville.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered that a 2006 Nissan Altima, which was driven by a juvenile, whose name is not being released, was traveling south on Beauchamp Road when she lost control of the vehicle.
The car ran off the road and struck a tree. A passenger in the vehicle, identified as 22-year-old Nicholas William Hudnall of 42 South Beauchamp Road, Adairville, was pronounced dead at the scene by Logan County Coroner Mary Givens.
The driver and a second passenger, whose name is also not being released because of being a juvenile, were both transported to Vanderbilt University Hospital via helicopter.
The severity of the juveniles’ injuries is not being released by the authorities.
None of the occupants of the vehicle were wearing seat belts and excessive speed is believed to have been a factor in the accident, according to a release from the Logan County Sheriff’s Department.
