Adairville academic team wins big

On Jan. 24, Adairville competed in the Middle School District Governor’s Cup, graciously hosted by Chandlers Elementary.

After an intense day of academic testing and quick recall matches, Adairville Elementary prevailed as the District 17 Champions. As well as finishing first overall, Adairville also placed second in Quick Recall and Future Problem solving.

In individual events, Haleigh Brown placed first in Mathematics; Emilie Gill placed first in Composition and second in Social Studies; Christina Link placed first in Arts and Humanities and second in Composition; Ethan Mullen placed first in Science; Leah Thompson placed fourth in Language Arts; Tori Mills Place fourth in Composition, and Courtney Page placed fifth in Language Arts.

As District Champions, Adairville advances to regional play on Feb. 14, hosted by Warren East Middle School. Outstanding work Cardinals!
