We haven’t had very much rain, but sure am thankful for what we have had. Every little bit helps.

A group of 10 from our church returned home on Saturday from their mission trip to Oklahoma with Bro. Jimmy and Penny Kenner. They said they had a good week. Each one of the group told about their trip Sunday morning at church.
And Melba Gibbs sang a special for us Sunday morning. She sang, “House of Gold.” It was really pretty.

I called my cousin, Omanel Robertson, on Sunday and talked with her. She was doing very well.
Jess Hammond visited with her sister, Edith Christian, one day and they went to Webb’s Restaurant and ate lunch together.
Visiting with Myrtle Pogue was Angie Harvey and her sons, Eric and William from Indianapolis, Ind.
They attended the funeral of Scott Wallace. He was Myrtle’s great nephew. Also, Lorrie Hopper came by.
Visiting with Christine White was Jerry and Irene White. They had to go to town so they bought lunch at Roy’s Barbecue and brought it home to eat. Then they went to the grocery store for her. Juley, Jimmy and Dorothy was there.
I am putting up sweet corn, so I’ve got to get busy.
Compassion is difficult to give away because it keeps coming back.
