Arvin Neel Jenkins, 60, of Greenville, died July 14, 2012, at his home.

He was born in Jefferson County July 25, 1951, a son of Louise Jenkins of Belton and the late Henry Jenkins. In addition to his father, Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Catherine Coleman.

Mr. Jenkins was a in sewing machine repair for Red Cap Company in Lewisburg. He was a member of White Plains Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 17 at 11 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home with Reverend Mickey Travis and Reverend Leamon Mefford officiating. Burial will follow ion Union Ridge Cemetery. Visitation began Monday, July 16 at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Jenkins is survived by his sons, Arvin Doyle Jenkins of Morgantown and Cristian Jenkins of Russellville; his daughter, Crystal Coleman of Bowling Green; his grandchildren, Claire and Alex Coleman; his brothers, Nathan Jenkins of Greenville and Timothy Jenkins of Belton, and his sisters, Terecia Gehring of Madisonville and Mary Lou Beard of Greenville.
