Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Hindman of Russellville, announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Taylor, to Lucas James Gilliam, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Gilliam, also of Russellville.
Miss Hindman is the granddaughter of W. Nolin Taylor of Shelbyville, Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Locke of Florida and Mrs. Dorothy Hindman and the late Dr. Bob Hindman of Russellville. She is a 2006 graduate of Russellville High School and graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2010 with a bachelor of science degree in biology and chemistry. Katie is currently in her third year of medical school at the Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Mr. Gilliam is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. JD Gilliam, of Russellville, and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Hanks of Wentzville, Mo. He is a 2008 graduate of Logan County High School and a 2012 graduate of Western Kentucky University with a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering. He is employed by the Kentucky Department of Transportation.
The couple will be married at First Baptist Church of Russellville on July 21, 2010. They will reside in Paducah.
