Claude Woodrow Blick, 93, of Adairville, died Friday, June 29, 2012, at the Hearthstone Place in Elkton.
He was born in Logan County July 15, 1918, a son of the late Richard and Fannie Hallman Blick. In addition to his parents, Mr. Blick was preceded in death by his first wife, Callie Christine Rager Blick; his second wife, Juanita Sisk Camp Blick, and his son, Dannie Blick.
Mr. Blick was a farmer and a member of the Second Baptist Church of Russellville. He taught Sunday School for 50 years and was a member of the Gideons.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 2 at 2 p.m. at the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel with Brother Donnie Blick and Brother Steve Smith officiating. Burial followed in the Dripping Spring Cemetery. Visitation began Sunday, July 1 after 4 p.m. and Monday, July 2 after 8 a.m. until time of service at the fuenral home.
Pallbearers were Jason Blick, Jonathan Blick, Jody Blick, Brandon Nichols, Billy Carnal, Jennifer Nichols, Kristen Carnal and Amy Blick.
He is survived by his sons, Donnie Blick and wife Sandra of Russellville and Dorris Blick and wife Connie of Adairville; his daughter-in-law Brenda Blick of Russellville; five grandchildren, Jason Blick, Jody Blick, Jonathan Blick, Jennifer Nichols and Kristen Carnal, and eight great-grandchildren.
