Three young Logan County kids decided they wanted to help out all the unwanted animals in Logan County find forever homes and felt a lemonade stand may just be the ticket they need to raise money.

Zaeza Williams, 7, Shelby White, 7, and Lennon Ries, 8, set up a lemonade stand in Russellville last week and sold $400 worth of the cool drink while setting in the hot sun.

The kids didn’t seem to mind, however, because they knew the money they raised would help the dogs and cats out at the Logan County Humane Society.

“I think every animal should have a loving home,” said Ries. Both Williams and White agreed.
