George Thomas Harrison, 92, of Lewisburg, died Wednesday, May 30. 2012, at Hospice Center of Southern Ky. in Bowling Green.

He was born in Butler County Jan. 24, 1920, a son of the late William Harrison and the late Mary Harrison. In addition to his parents, Mr. Harrison was preceded in death by his sisters, Ruth Scovel and Juanita Westray.

Mr. Harrison worked as a die caster for Rockwell. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II, was a member of the Lewisburg Methodist Church and the American Legion.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 2 at 2 p.m. in the Price Funeral Home with Brother Gary Ball and Brother Bart Myers officiating. Burial followed in the Lewisburg Cemetery. Visitation began Friday, June 1 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred Harrison of Lewisburg; his daughter, Shelia Groves and husband Jeff of Lewisburg; his son, Korlin Thomas Harrison “Corky” of Nashville, Tenn., and his grandchildren, Tyler Groves and Justin Groves both of Lewisburg.
