The Lewisburg Homemakers met Jan. 15, 2009 at the Country Girls restaurant in Dunmor.

President Myrrhl Strohecker called the meeting to order with eight members present.

Myrrhl read the thought of the month and led the pledge of the flag.

Madine Ray gave the lesson “Healthy Snacks” with some recipes from the lesson and ones that were present.

The roll call answer was, “What do you like to do on a snowy day?”

A nice fellowship was experienced with homemade soups and sandwiches.

The next meeting will be held Thursday, Feb. 3.
