Logan County opens up basketball season with annual Blue&White game

Tonight the Logan County Cougars will be celebrating the official start of their high school basketball season with festivities culminating in the annual ‘Blue & White’ game that will show off the new Cougars team.

The doors open at 5:30 p.m. at Logan County High School with admission being three dollars. If you bring your military ID, admission is free of charge. At 6 p.m. the national anthem will be played by the LCHS band and all veterans will be recognized. After that the festivities begin that will feature all five Logan County middle school’s boys and girls basketball teams being introduced to the fans. The LCHS cheerleaders will also be introduced and then the Cougars and Lady Cougars basketball team. There will be a LC principal ‘Hot Shot’ game played between all the Logan County principals. There will be a three point shoot out between the Cougars and Lady Cougars with the Cougars showing off and having a bit of fun with a dunk contest. There will also be three scrimmages, the Lady Cougars, the freshman/JV boys team and to wrap up the night the ‘Blue & White’ game between the varsity Cougars.

LCHS encourages everyone to come out and celebrate the start of basketball season.
