Holiday splendor will open its doors for a free holiday open house just around the corner in Auburn. The holiday season is quickly approaching and the Merchants Holiday Open House is planned for Friday and Saturday, November 14 and 15 during the hours from 9 a.m. till 5 p.m.

Several businesses in and around Auburn will be participating in the holiday open house including beautiful handmade furniture at Colonial House Furniture, be sure to stop by The Lion & The Lamb Antiques to celebrate a vintage Christmas with unique ideas and gifts, including antiques, quilts and furniture refinishing, Amish handcrafted heirlooms, fine furnishings for the home and patio and furniture at Southern Outdoor Furniture, Auburn Lumber, and three new businesses in town, KY Soul Productions & More and Meguiar Printing Company, and the doctor's offices of Dr. Karuna Reedy located downtown in Auburn.

There are several places for dining or to take advantage of some home style cooking, be sure to stop by any or all of these dining establishments for a nice meal and gift ideas of delicious cakes, pies, cookies, breads, jams and jellies and home cooked meals at Country Side Bake Shop, across from Colonial House Furniture, Subway, Nan's Restaurant, Godfather's Pizza and O'deli's Subs, Cindy's Restaurant, Auburn Pool & Game Room.
