LCHS cross country to compete at region meet

The Logan County High School cross country teams will be competing this weekend in the Class 2A, Region 1 meet.

The top five teams from the region competition will advance to the state championship on Nov. 15 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington.

Scott Kenney, a senior on the LCHS team, qualified for the state championship as an individual last year.

Those that will be competing from the boys' team include Troy Fulcher (8th), Sye Head (8th), Noah Thomas (8th), Colton Spencer (8th), Josh Stuart (12th), Joe Dan Laster (12th), Scott Kenney (12th) and Cullen Pittman (10th).

Those that will be competing from the girls' team include Macie Dye (11th), Crystin Faenza (12th), Laura Coleman (12th), Amber Thorlton (9th) and MacKenzie Hightower (9th).
