Geocaching is an exciting new sport in which people use their GPS (global positioning system) units to find hidden treasures. Pennyrile Forest's event will offer a night cache, a find-the-most-caches contest, a first-to-find cache, and traditional caches. Organizers guarantee at least 30 caches to find. The registration fee is $10 per geocacher.

Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park is the perfect back-to-nature hideaway. The park is totally surrounded by Pennyrile State Forest, giving it a secluded atmosphere.
