The News-Democrat & Leader has implemented a new policy regarding the placement of obituaries on our web site. As of January 1, 2006 obituaries will posted in their entirety, along with a photo, when provided, when a $25 fee is paid. The obituary is still printed for free in the print edition of the News-Democrat & Leader. Subscription information is available on our web site.
To obtain information concerning specific obituaries, you should contact the referenced funeral home and express your desire for them to place obituaries on line at www.newsdemocratleader.com.
