The Logan Industrial Development Authority, (IDA) will meet following the LEAD meeting at 8 a.m. in the same location. The meetings are open to the public.

NAACP Banquet
The Russellville Logan County Branch of the NAACP will celebrate its 30th Year Freedom Fund Banquet today at the Sportsman Club Building in the park at 6 p.m. Rev. Mitchell Fort, pastor of the Virginia Street Baptist Church in Hopkinsville, will be the guest speaker. The theme will be “Courage in the Struggle for Justice and Peace.” Three graduating students of 2008, will be awarded scholarships - Donnie Bigbee, Samuel Kendricks and Courtney Mayo. Gardens of Logan County Tour
The Tenth Annual Gardens of Logan County Tour will be held today from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. beginning at the Bibb House at the corner of Winter and West Eighth Streets. Cost for the tour is $9.
