The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Anna and the late Roger Burnette and Mae and the late Walter Powers, all of Owensboro. She is the great-granddaughter of Allan and Elizabeth Parker of Owensboro. She is a 2002 graduate of Apollo High School and attends Western Kentucky University where she is majoring in marketing. She is currently employed at Drobocky Orthodontics in Bowling Green.
The future groom is the grandson of Leon and Joyce Rippy and James Miller and the late Joe. W. and Beatrice Hendricks, all of Franklin. He is the great-grandson of Ray Miller of Franklin. He is a 2002 graduate of Logan County High School and a 2006 graduate of Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture/business. He is currently employed at Wheat Tech in Russellville.
The wedding will be at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Owensboro on June 7, 2008.
The couple plans to live in Auburn.
