Volunteers will attend each preschool class and read a book, selected from the American Farm Bureau recommended reading list, to the classroom. A copy of the book will then be presented to each student.
This project will put age appropriate, agriculture-related books into the hands of approximately 240 students and their families in Logan County.
The mini-grant program is a special project of the Kentucky Farm Bureau Women and is administered through the Kentucky Farm Bureau Education Foundation. It is funded through monies raised by a live auction held in conjunction with the Kentucky Farm Bureau Women's Leadership Conference.
