Several Logan Countians recently attended the 2008 Annual Meeting of Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana. Delegates who represented Logan County were Vickie Kemp (Area 17 chair), Deborah Ison and Lyndsey Ison. Girl Scout Jessica Stuart also attended the meeting.

The meeting took place Saturday, April 5 at Murray State University. Vickie Kemp was elected as a delegate to the national meeting to be held in the fall in Indianapolis.

Area Girl Scouts earning Girl Scouting’s Silver award were recognized. They were Kimberly Baugh, Lyndsey Ison, Caitlyn Mason and Alexandria Davis.

Others who were honored include: Tenure Pin (10 years), Deborah Ison, Cyndi Mason and Anita Napier; Tenure Pin (15 years), Tiffany Hayes; Tenure Pin (20 years), Peggy Cowherd; Recruiters Club Pin, Deborah Ison; Volunteer Development Pin, Deborah Ison; Volunteer Development Keys (white) Deborah Ison and Vickie Kemp; Daisy Award, Angie Baugh and Tina Haley; Pillar of Support Award, Denise Grayson and Lynn Phillips; Juliette Low Award, Deborah Ison; Green Knight, Jeff Cropper; Green Angel, Lin Cropper, Deborah Ison and Vickie Kemp.
