GymKatz perform well at district championships

On Saturday, April 12, the Level 4 GymKatz from Logan Co. Gymnastics & Dance competed in the Kentucky AAU District Championships held in Bowling Green. There were 150 competitors (competing in Levels 2-9). Shown above (left to right) with their awards are Madison Jernigan, Jordan Hall, and Sierra Morrow. Madison scored 9's on all four events, with Jordan and Sierra scoring 9's on vault.

Chelsea Gibbs (pictured) and Mia Bethea (not pictured) competed as Prep Optionals. Mia won silver on the vault, uneven bars, and the all-around. Chelsea brought home the title of AAU Prep Op District Champion as she won silver medals for her routine on floor exercise and vault; and she won the gold on uneven bars, balance beam, and the all-around.
