According to Auburn Police Chief Scott Harmon, the Auburn man was assaulted at his home on West Main Street and a witness called and reported the incident. Auburn Police, along with the Logan County Sheriff's Department, later stopped Eversoll who was on his way to Russellville. Eversoll was charged with second-degree assault and third-degree criminal trespassing.
Eversoll was taken to Logan Memorial Hospital and then transported to the Logan County Detention Center. He was released that day after posting $50,000 unsecured bond. The bond conditions forbid Eversoll from having any contact with the victim.
Eversoll owns several Bowling Green businesses, including The Deuce and Goodtymes 2.
The victim was taken to the Medical Center in Bowling Green and treated for severe injuries to his face, eyes and nose.
Harmon said the case is still under investigation. Eversoll is scheduled for arraignment Wednesday, April 9 in Logan District Court.
