The Auburn Police Department arrested Jason N. Black, 33, of Auburn on Sept. 12 on an indictment from the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force. The indictment was the result of an investigation the task force has been conducting on Black with the assistance of the Auburn Police Department. Black was charged with trafficking controlled substance 1st degree (cocaine), trafficking controlled substance within 1,000 yards of a school, drug paraphernalia 1st offense and possession/use of a radio that sends/receives police messages. The charges stemmed from a search warrant that was executed on Black's residence in August. Bail was set at $15,000 cash.
