Suicide is the third leading cause of death of ages 15-24. The majority of our youth will never attempt suicide. However, the loss of over 100 young people per week requires us to actively work toward learning prevention strategies to save young lives.
This seminar will be led by the JFI staff personnel and will provide information about suicide facts, signs of concern of at-risk youth and how to respond to a troubled person. This seminar is free to the community, churches, school parent groups and youth groups from across the county.
Adults will meet in the church auditorium and youth will meet in the Roy L. Sears Family Life Center.
