Could the News-Democrat & Leader be responsible- at least in part- for this prolonged cold, disagreeable weather?
Maybe.
Every since we ran that picture of outdoors columnist Mark 'Trapper' Hathcock with a huge animal he had trapped draped over his shoulder, winter has been wrathful.
He alleged it was a beaver, but we're beginning to wonder if it were a groundhog deprived of a chance to gaze upon its shadow.
