State highway crews are scheduled to work on the traffic lights at each entrance to the new Wal-Mart SuperCenter this week.

They will replace the pole and base for the signal at KY 178 (the Highland Lick Road) and U.S. 68 Bypass, reconstruct the signal at US 68 Bypass and Walton Lane and replace the signal heads and back plates on U.S. 68 Bypass and KY 79 (the Clarksville Road)..

Also scheduled this week are “cross drain cleansing” on the Orndorff Mill and Highland Lick roads.

Maintenance activities are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
